Shelley Luther

If you would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge that your actions were selfish, putting your own interest ahead of those in the community in which you live,” Moyé said to Luther inside the courtroom Tuesday。

烈女在庭上拒绝了,她说: “I have to disagree with you sir, when you say that I’m selfish because feeding my kids is not selfish,” she said. “I have hairstylists that are going hungry because they’d rather feed their kids. So sir, if you think the law is more important than kids being fed then please go ahead with your decision but I’m not going to shut the salon.”

As I have made clear through prior pronouncements, jailing Texans for non-compliance with executive orders should always be the last available option,” he said. “Compliance with executive orders during this pandemic is important to ensure public safety; however, surely there are less restrictive means to achieving that goal than jailing a Texas mother.”

再后来,烈女找了律师Warren,律师对CNN说:court is not following the rule of law and she is offering services in a “very sterile environment” that is “kept very hygienic. She’s the leader of a group of people who want more freedom and liberty to simply do nothing more than earn a living,” 大意也就是:法院没有遵守法规,烈女的发廊保持非常好的卫生,她经营着小发廊只是希望有这个自由和权利养家糊口。
