As global food security, nutrition, and sustainability become central international priorities, the World Food Forum (WFF), launched by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is advancing the transformation of global agrifood systems through youth action, innovation, and international collaboration.
作为该平台的重要核心项目之一，青年主厨计划（Young Chefs Programme, YCP）致力于培养18—35岁的青年厨师成为推动食品体系转型的关键领导者，通过系统培训、全球导师网络及社区实践行动，使青年厨师在营养改善、食品安全、生物多样性保护及健康饮食倡导方面发挥更大影响力。
As one of its flagship initiatives, the Young Chefs Programme (YCP) aims to empower chefs aged 18–35 to become key leaders in transforming agrifood systems through structured training, global mentorship, and community-based action.
【全球培养体系 Global Development Framework】
青年主厨计划采用为期一年的全球培养机制，围绕能力建设（Capacity Development）、倡导行动（Advocacy）、社区实践（Local Action）三大支柱展开。
The programme follows a one-year development cycle structured around three pillars: Capacity Development, Advocacy, and Local Action.
入选青年厨师将在项目期间接受全球导师一对一指导、参加 FAO 专家 Masterclasses、实施本地食品体系改进项目，并在世界粮食论坛年度旗舰大会上展示成果。
Selected chefs receive one-to-one mentorship, participate in FAO expert masterclasses, implement community-based projects, and present their work at the WFF flagship event.
【课程与实践 Curriculum & Practice】
课程体系涵盖食品体系与青年厨师角色、食品安全与减少浪费、生物多样性与营养、饮食文化保护、性别视角营养公平以及可持续菜单设计等核心议题，由 FAO 专家与国际合作机构共同授课。
Training modules include the role of chefs in food systems, food safety and waste reduction, biodiversity and nutrition, cultural food heritage preservation, gender-responsive nutrition, and sustainable menu design, delivered by FAO experts and international partners.

为确保遴选出最具领导力与创新能力的青年人才，世界粮食论坛成立全球选拔委员会。北美经济导报（NAEH）社长、全美亚裔名厨委员会主席 Kenny Tang 受邀担任全球选拔委员。
To identify the most promising global applicants, the WFF established a Selection Committee of international experts. Kenny Tang, President of the North America Economic Herald (NAEH) and Chairman of the Asian Chefs Alliance USA Committee, has been invited to serve as a global selection committee member.
